Train Excursion includes:

- Boarding Pass
- Pick-up at Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton hotel, a short drive from the South Gate of USAFA
- Lunch in the Royal Gorge Train Dining Car
- Transportation to and from Canon City, Colorado
- Return reception with light snacks

The trip includes round trip transportation to/from the the Royal
Gorge Route Train in Canon City, 3 hour train ride with full lunch,
gratuities and return. The trip will depart at 0930 and return about
1700. The cost is $97 per person.
The Royal Gorge Route runs along the Colorado River through scenic
areas and past the Royal Gorge Bridge - the highest suspension bridge in the world!
The train route will not be near any of the recent wildfire burn areas. You have a choice of seats in the Vintage train car (limited 1st come) or the Dome car.
Please specify your preference with reservation. The Vintage car has
full windows on both sides and the Dome car has glass dome windows on
both sides and overhead for full 360 viewing.
Lunch will include Baby Green Salad, choice of entree (specify with reservation), dessert, and beverage (coffee, tea, or soft drink). There will be a full service bar available in the car at an additional cost. Entree choices are Roasted Heirline Chicken Breast in a whiskey butter sauce, Roasted Pork Osso Bucco, Fresh Salmon with Pesto, or Vegetable Napoleon.
