Women's 50th Anniversary Events
April 23-26 was a historic moment for all of the women Cadets who have come through the Academy within the last 50 years. In 1976, the United States Air Force Academy opened its doors to both men and women, marking a historical moment for all. Throughout these past couple of days, the WebTeam was able to attend some of the events commemorating the Women's 50th Anniversary. On Thursday, the WebTeam attended the Heritage Trails Tour, Court of Inspriration Talk, and Informal Reception that took place at Doolittle Hall. On Friday, the WebTeam attended a special Noon Meal Formation with a commemoration attendee photo taken outside of Mitchell Hall, Tours of the Cadet Area, and the 50th Commemoration Reception and Dinner. On Saturday, the WebTeam attended various speaking events at Hotel Polaris and 80's themed party at the Falcon Club. These special events will be remembered by all attendees for years to come.
