Prep TX

Prep TX officially began last night with the Bridge Destruction event. Not only was it a team building exercise but also a practical application of what they learned in math. Truss bridges were constructed by each team out of Popsicle sticks. Teams competed by stacking textbooks on the bridges until they failed. The winning team had 21 textbooks!

So far today has been a busy day! This morning the C/C’s began their day by starting off with a Bag Drag where all the Preppies had a backpack filled with supplies. They were lined up and ordered to take everything out of the bag to make sure they packed correctly. Once all of their supplies were marked down, the teams had to do 10 push-ups for each item that was missing.
