That's A Wrap!

As I write this final blog of the 2015-16 prep school year, I can't help but think how fast it went by.  Wasn't it just I-Day? Now they are leaving.

When I remember my Air Force days I recall that the days passed slowly, but the months and years passed quickly.  The same is true today.

Now we all gear up for the next phase of this adventure.  Most of the Prep Class of 2016 will try to pack an entire summer into 35 days before they return as members of the USAFA Class of 2020 on 30 June.   Some of the prior enlisted graduates will put their stripes back on for 35 days and work at the Academy unitl I-Day.  Some will will return to the enlisted ranks by choice.  A few other grads will go back to civilian life or on to a civilian college.  Whatever the next phase of their lives holds, the 196 graduates of the Class of 2016 will always be Preppies.

All of the photos from Grad Week are now up in the gallery for your viewing pleasure.  While I get a lot of the recognition as "WebGuy", it is really a team effort to bring this coverage to you.  From AOG Sr. VP Marty Marcolongo (who started it all 13 years ago) to our fantastic IT team, who built this website from the ground up, to Kelsey Glenner, "WebHatter" who makes this all work on a day-to-day basis, to the photographers who have covered parts of the year, to Col Szybist and his staff and USAFA/PA who have given us the access to the prep school, all of us do this for one reason.  The kids.

So, with that said, THANK YOU for all the love and support you have given us over the last ten months.  We hope you will continue this journey with us for the next four years.  Here is the link to "Re-Enlist" http://www.usafa.org/appointee

Until then, this is WebGuy signing off
