1Day1USAFA Prep School Pizza Party
More than 200 parents, alums and friends raised more than $26,000 on 1Day1USAFA, an annual day of giving hosted by the Air Force Academy Association of Graduates and Foundation. As a thank you to all who donated, the Air Force Academy AOG and Foundation hosted a pizza party for all three squadrons on Jan. 2 to help welcome all cadet candidates back from the holiday break.
Funds raised toward the Prep School go to support a number of initiatives and priorities, including most recently providing all cadet candidates with tickets to the Air Force vs. Army football game at Empower Field in Denver in early November. Other areas impacted by private support include the Early Path to Wings Program, Prep School Graduation activities, and all 22 Prep School non-uniformed sports, among other areas.
