Physical Training (PT) for All Basic Squadrons this morning!

The physical training part of Basic has started and all squadrons were out at various locations in the cadet athletic area. The morning started with dense fog, but thankfully it started to clear the area shortly after PT started. Stretching exercises, sit ups and push-ups started each PT session to get them warmed up and ready to go!

Each Squadron is scheduled for PT throughtout BCT at each of the locations listed below and will rotate between them over the next several weeks. There were two squadrons per location. The photos are separated by location, with both squadrons photos together.

*** There will be more photos today of the squadrons on the middle and lower fields because WebGuy had a photographer at each field as well as a photographer that took photos of both fields.

Aggressors and Barbarians were doing Cardio on the Middle IM(Intramural) Field. The cardio here consisted of running up and down the hill several times.  They also did a 1.5 mile run.

Cobras and Demons were also doing Cardio, but on the Lower IM Field. The lower fieled consisted of shorter sprints but more of them. An example is 200 yard run with a 50 yard walk.  They also did a 1.5 mile run.

Excecutioners and Flying Tigers were doing strength training on the outdoor track. Pull-ups, push-ups, split jumps, knee highs, and jumping jacks are just a few of the exercises the basic cadets did this morning.

Guts and Hell Cats were out on the outdoor courts doing power training. Push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and low hurdle jumps.
