USAFA Women's Club Soccer

This past Saturday the USAFA Women's Soccer Club played a Blue and Silver scrimmage on the Prep School Soccer Field.  It was an overcast day which made for cooler, but pleasant temperature during the game.  Both sides played well and it was a great learning and skills improvement opportunity for all players.

As stated by the Air Force Academy Athletic Association, Clubs are a great opportunity for cadets to enhance their professional development by taking on additional leadership roles. or opportunities to manage personnel and financial resoureces and learn administrative and logistic skills. About 75 percent of cadets are involved in at least one of the Academy's more than 90 active clubs.  Clubs are run by cadets, for cadets, with an oversight from an Air Officer, senior enlistedd member or civilian on staff at the Academy.
