CST Thursdays Week 1

Cadet Survival Training (CST) is live now with week 1 in the books. The cadets worked on the Ropes Course and also started the Emergency Parachute Principal Training.

The Emergency Parachute Principle  training took place at the 98th Training Facility. According to the USAFA website, this facility is typically used to train safety and emergency procedures, which enhance student confidence and maximize performance under extremely stressful conditions. The purpose of this training is to teach cadets emergency procedures if an ejection or bailout is required while conducting flying duties.

For the ropes course the cadets spent the morning on the ground. They participated in problem solving challenges as a team. There are discussions on application of insights to CST program, cadet life, and Airman Leadership throughout.
