PT - Today!
Each morning, Basic Cadets begin their day with physical training, building the strength and endurance they'll rely on throughout Basic Cadet Training.
The morning started with all eight squadrons forming up on the Terrazzo, where they completed a group warm-up before splitting into two groups for the day's workout.
Executioners, Flying Tigers, Guts, and Hellcats made their way to Stillman Field, where they completed sprint intervals before finishing with a 15-minute run. Meanwhile, Aggressors, Barbarians, Cobras, and Demons remained on the Terrazzo, rotating through a series of bodyweight exercises, including pull-ups, sit-ups, and push-ups.
Physical training is a daily part of Basic Cadet Training, helping Basics develop the physical fitness, discipline, and resilience required as they continue their journey toward becoming cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
