Oath of Office
You might be confused as there is the Swearing in Ceremony tomorrow. Today the appointees took the Oath of Office to become Basic Cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Oath of Office I, (state your name), having been appointed a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution Of the United States against all enemies, Foreign and domestic, that I bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter. So help me God. (optional)
