USAFA cadets compete in NC Taekwondo
The Taekwondo tournament 24-26 April held at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. The event drew collegiate taekwondo athletes from across the country. USAFA sent 20 cadets, one of them which serves as a coach along with one USAFA alumnus who also coached many of the athletes during their Poomsae (traditional forms) and Kyorugi (Olympic-style sparring) events. Four USAFA cadets reached the podium with two gold medals and two silver medals. Extremely proud of them for representing USAFA with determination, grit, and poised professionalism throughout the tournament weekend.
