It is time to welcome the first arrivals to the USAFA Preparatory School Class of 2018. Even though Prep I-Day isn't until Wednesday for the Prep School, the prior enlisted airmen appointees come in a few days early since they are already in the Air Force and have to go through some additional steps to transfer to the Prep School.
The Class of 2021 got a break from training today to attend the Pikes Peak Rodeo. It looks like a good time was had by all.
Yesterday, following Field Day was the First BCT Awards Luncheon where the outstanding Cadre were recognized for their performance during BCT 1.

Today was a light photo coverage day, but another busy day for the Class of 2021. The Headline photo has nothing really to do with todays content, but I thought the hardworking Cadre should get some recognition.
While giving by families has always played an important role at the Academy, Parent & Family Giving is a new program coordinated through the USAFA Endowment for families and parents of Academy cadets who want to interact with each other and get involved in Academy projects and programs through active volunteerism and philanthropy.
